TL;DR

The OrderOut Reseller Program lets ISOs, agents, and sales teams earn recurring residuals by bringing merchants — restaurants, retail, and service businesses — to Square, through OrderOut, an official Square reseller (US + Canada focus). You share a branded intake link; the merchant fills a short form; OrderOut completes the Square account setup; the deal is attributed automatically up your Organization → ISO → Agent hierarchy. You own the merchant residuals for life: Square pays OrderOut, OrderOut pays you — a full pass-through — and you set your own splits in a free white-label portal. Start at reseller.orderout.co/request-access — approval is typically same day or one business day.

What you can sell

Every product stands on its own.

Selling Square POS to a flooring company, an HVAC shop, or a retailer does not require any online-ordering or delivery product — those are add-ons for food businesses. The program is not restaurant-only: Square’s best-performing verticals at $50K+ are restaurant, retail, and services — and SaaS / ISV businesses can be boarded too. Every vertical boards through the same Square reseller intake link and portal.

A multi-product portal

The Reseller Portal is a marketplace, not a single-line program.

Square Merchant Processing, Netevia Banking, and OrderOut’s own products are separate products a merchant can subscribe to or not — and each product carries its own commission / residual / compensation structure for the reseller. OrderOut is not an ISO of Netevia; Netevia Banking is one of the portal’s products. (Specific per-product comp figures are never published.)

How it works

From branded link to attributed deal.

The branded intake link collects only business details, category, and owner contact — a short form, with no Square redirect. OrderOut then completes the Square account setup on the back end with your referral attached, and the deal is attributed automatically up Organization → ISO → Agent. Each product has its own boarding and underwriting — streamlined, with some custom steps by product or variant. Merchant approval is typically same day or one business day (never “instant”).

Economics

You own the residuals. You design the splits.

Who owns the economics

You own the merchant residuals for life. Square pays OrderOut; OrderOut pays you — OrderOut is just a pass-through.

How you’re paid

Square pays OrderOut residuals on the payment-processing volume of referred merchants, and you receive the full residual OrderOut receives — a complete pass-through. From there the economics are yours: set the percentage split at every level of your Organization → ISO → Agent hierarchy, calculated automatically on every deal. Super-ISO structures are supported.

What earns, and what doesn’t

Under the Square program, residuals attach to payment-processing volume only. Hardware, software subscriptions, and Square’s other services (banking, payroll, loans) carry no referral fees — but each one deepens the merchant relationship and grows the processing volume you are paid on. Beyond Square, the portal’s other products — Netevia Banking and OrderOut products — each have their own commission and residual structure (figures unpublished). Hardware itself carries no Square discount, but you may resell, finance, or lease it to merchants on your own margin.

What you’ll see

Deal attribution, link analytics, pipeline status, and real-time Slack / email alerts are live in the portal today. Dollar-level residual and payout reporting is coming soon.

Square specifics

An official Square reseller — with two closers.

Official reseller

OrderOut USA Corp holds a signed Square Reseller Agreement — “official Square reseller” is a verified claim, not marketing language. Merchants boarded through the program are standard Square accounts; going through the reseller channel costs the merchant nothing extra versus Square’s published direct pricing (see squareup.com/pricing). For the wider partner-ecosystem context, read the Square Reseller Program 2026 guide.

Two programs, one link each

Rack Rate — Square’s standard 2.6% + $0.15 in-person processing — and the 4% Flat Rate program, which pairs with either a 4% Cash Discount or a 4% Service Charge. Both are Square’s own programs, per Square’s published pricing. The merchant’s intake link determines the program — no merchant-side choice, no wrong link.

Full feature parity

Merchants boarded through the channel get the same Square feature set as going direct — features, integrations, APIs, Square Online, Afterpay / BNPL.

Two closers a direct signup doesn’t include

Instant Funding powered by Netevia (money when the batch closes) and UberEats / DoorDash account-opening incentives. And on existing Square merchants: no account transfers — residuals attach only via a new merchant processing account opened through your link.

Support & operations

Who does what after the sale.

Support

OrderOut handles onboarding and account setup. Square handles ongoing merchant support via the Square Dashboard and squareup.com/help — per Square’s published plans, phone support comes with Square Plus ($49/mo, 6am–6pm PT Mon–Fri) and 24/7 with Premium ($149/mo). You own the relationship.

The portal

White-labeled to your organization (name, logo, agent, accent color). Live today: deal attribution, link analytics, application / pipeline tracking, real-time Slack + email alerts, and per-agent / per-ISO performance views. Coming soon: dollar-level residual and payout reporting.

Enablement

Training lives in the OrderOut Reseller Portal training center, and Square’s own training is accessible to resellers too. Webinar recordings live on the webinar page; info sheets are being added to the portal.

Branding & marketing rules

Co-brand freely — just represent the relationship accurately.

Sub-agents may co-brand their material and may use the Square logo — always subject to Square’s brand-asset guidelines — but they are not directly affiliated with Square and must never imply they are. Frame the relationship as it is: an agent or ISO in OrderOut’s official Square reseller program, with the reseller relationship disclosed. Stay value-first on community channels, with zero income claims.

Territories

US and Canada first, eight markets supported.

Primary focus and lead claim: US and Canada. The program is compatible across all 8 Square markets — US, Canada, UK, Japan, Australia, Spain, France, and Ireland — so raise non-US/CA opportunities when you apply. Square does not operate in the Caribbean or Central / South America. Localized country pages come later, with translation.

FAQ

Reseller program FAQs

How do ISO and agent residual splits work?
You own the merchant residuals for life. Square pays OrderOut; OrderOut pays you — OrderOut is just a pass-through, so you receive the full residual OrderOut receives from Square on your merchants’ payment processing. From there you decide how to distribute it: in the Reseller Portal you set the percentage split at each level of your Organization → ISO → Agent hierarchy (super-ISOs with sub-agents are supported), and the splits are calculated automatically on every deal. Specific residual figures aren’t published; dollar-level residual and payout reporting in the portal is coming soon.
Do I earn commission on hardware, software plans, or other Square products?
No — residuals are earned on payment-processing volume only. There are no referral fees on hardware, software subscriptions, banking, payroll, loans, or other Square services. Those products still work in your favor: when a merchant adopts more of Square, their processing volume and stickiness grow — and processing volume is exactly what you’re paid on.
Is there a dual-pricing or cash-discounting option?
Cash discounting — yes, today. True dual pricing (showing two separate prices) — no; Square does not offer dual pricing under the current program. What is available alongside Rack Rate (Square’s standard 2.6% + $0.15 processing rate) is the 4% Flat Rate program, run as either a 4% Cash Discount (a discount for customers who pay cash) or a 4% Service Charge (4% added to card transactions) — the merchant’s intake link determines the program, so you never send the wrong one. Both variants are configured natively in Square at the POS, and Square supports BIN-compliant surcharging (debit cards are never surcharged). See Square’s published setup guides at squareup.com/help.
What does Square cost the merchant?
Square’s published pricing applies — the same whether the merchant comes through a reseller or signs up direct. Rack Rate is in-person processing at 2.6% + $0.15 per transaction, and the 4% Flat Rate program (Cash Discount or Service Charge) is the alternative; software plans are Free ($0), Plus ($49/mo), and Premium ($149/mo). Source: squareup.com/pricing — rates are Square’s and subject to Square’s published terms.
Why would a merchant sign up through a reseller instead of going direct to Square?
The merchant pays Square’s same published pricing either way — going through you costs them nothing extra. What they get through you: white-glove onboarding (a short form, no Square redirect, OrderOut completes the account setup), Instant Funding powered by Netevia, UberEats and DoorDash account-opening incentives, and a real person — you — instead of a website. Merchants can still sign up directly at squareup.com; the reseller channel is how ISOs and agents earn residuals on the merchants they bring.
How fast are merchants approved?
Fast — typically same day or one business day. You share your branded intake link, the merchant fills a short form, OrderOut completes the Square account setup with your referral attached, and the deal is attributed to your organization, ISO, and agent automatically.
Can I sign up a business that’s already using Square?
Not by transfer — an existing Square account can’t be re-pointed to a reseller, and residuals attach only when a new merchant processing account is opened through your branded link. So the path with an existing Square merchant is opening a new account through your link.
Which countries does the program cover?
The primary focus is the US and Canada. The program is compatible across all 8 Square markets — US, Canada, UK, Japan, Australia, Spain, France, and Ireland — so broader opportunities can be discussed when you apply. Square does not operate in the Caribbean or Central/South America, so merchants there can’t be boarded.
Who supports my merchants after the sale?
OrderOut handles onboarding and the account setup; Square handles ongoing merchant support through the Square Dashboard and squareup.com/help. Per Square’s published plans, phone support is included with Square Plus ($49/mo, 6am–6pm PT Mon–Fri) and 24/7 with Premium ($149/mo). Your job is the relationship, not the help desk.
If a merchant changes Square plans, how is my residual affected?
Residuals are calculated on the merchant’s current Square processing rate. Square’s plans carry different published rates (2.6% + $0.15 on Free, 2.5% + $0.15 on Plus, 2.4% + $0.15 on Premium), so if a merchant moves plans the residual reflects their current rate rather than the rate at onboarding. Square’s published rates apply.
Do resellers earn on Square’s crypto / Bitcoin payments?
Square supports Bitcoin acceptance for merchants, but there is no reseller revenue share on crypto today — it is available to merchants with no residual component for the channel at this time. Reseller economics center on payment processing. (Confirmed by Square on the July 2026 reseller webinar.)
