The industry hides its splits. Here’s ours.

Most reseller programs publish no numbers at all — “lifetime residuals”, “competitive splits”, call for details. We publish ours because we keep none of it: Square pays OrderOut 70% of the payment-processing revenue Square earns on your referred merchants’ card volume, and OrderOut passes 100% of that straight through to you. Ask any program you are evaluating for their number before you sign.

Earned on card payment-processing only — not hardware, not software subscriptions. Netevia Instant Funding and OrderOut’s delivery and online-ordering products each carry their own separate commission — the portal is multi-product.

In their own words

Hear it from Square and Netevia, not just from us.

Two clips from our reseller webinar. Each speaker is describing his own company's program or product — Square's, and Netevia's. Neither speaks for OrderOut, and nothing either says is an OrderOut offer, rate or commitment.

Why Sell Square? The Technology — Mike Collins, Head of Resellers

Square · Head of Resellers
Why Sell Square? The Technology — Mike Collins, Head of Resellers — video thumbnail
Mike Collins is Square's Head of Resellers, and he is describing Square's own reseller program and product line-up here — not OrderOut's, and nothing he says is a commitment by OrderOut. His argument: the technology is the number-one reason to resell Square, because products like Square Payroll, Square Banking, Afterpay and Cash App make the ecosystem sticky. The brand gets you in the door; the product keeps the merchant.

Instant Funding for Square Merchants — Vlad Sadovskiy, Netevia CEO

Netevia · Chief Executive Officer
Instant Funding for Square Merchants — Vlad Sadovskiy, Netevia CEO — video thumbnail
Instant Funding is Netevia's product, not OrderOut's. Vlad Sadovskiy, Netevia's CEO, is describing his own company's platform: Netevia banking is enabling an Instant Funding option for Square merchants — a horizontal banking platform that already runs across terminals and now works with Square. Merchants can subscribe to it as an optional add-on through the OrderOut reseller portal. Availability and terms are Netevia's, not an OrderOut promise.

How it works

From referral to residual.

  1. 01

    You share a branded link

Each reseller gets program-specific intake links — no merchant login required.

  2. 02

The merchant fills a short form

Business details, category, owner contact — a short form, no Square redirect.

  3. 03

    OrderOut completes the setup

Our support team creates the Square account using the correct referral link and keeps you in the loop.

  4. 04

    You get paid

The deal is attributed to your org, ISO, and agent automatically.

Two programs, one link each

The link picks the program.

Rack Rate — Square's standard 2.6% + $0.15 in-person processing — and the 4% Flat Rate program, which pairs with either a 4% Cash Discount or a 4% Service Charge. Both are Square's own reseller programs (see squareup.com/pricing). The link itself determines which one the merchant lands on, so the merchant never has to choose, and you never send the wrong one.

Run your sales org on real numbers

The numbers you actually run a sales org on.

  • Link opens by agent and by ISO
  • Applications submitted / account created / completed (live status)
  • Submissions attributed up the Organization → ISO → Agent cascade
  • Real-time Slack + email alerts on submission

FAQ

Square reseller FAQs

How do Square reseller residuals work?
Square pays residuals to OrderOut as an official reseller, and OrderOut redistributes them to you. You see every submitted application and its attribution to the right agent and ISO in real time in your white-label portal. Dollar-level residual & payout reporting is coming soon.
How do ISO and agent residual splits work?
The merchants you board stay attributed to you, and the residual keeps paying for as long as they process — including after you move on. Square pays OrderOut 70% of the payment-processing revenue Square earns on your referred merchants’ card volume, and OrderOut passes 100% of that straight through to you — OrderOut takes no cut. From there you decide how to distribute it across your ISO and agent umbrella, and super-ISOs with sub-agents are supported. Be clear on what the portal does today: the Organization → ISO → Agent hierarchy and per-agent attribution are live, but setting the percentage split at each level and having the portal calculate it are not — those arrive with the Residuals section. Until then you run the split maths on your side and reconcile it against your attribution report. Dollar-level residual and payout reporting in the portal is coming soon.
How do I become an official Square reseller?
Join the OrderOut Reseller Program and you receive a fully branded, white-label intake link specific to your organization. When a merchant submits through that link, OrderOut completes the Square account setup on the back end — the deal is automatically attributed to your Organization, ISO, and agent, and you earn the residual. Your reseller application is read by hand, so we promise you a decision rather than a fixed date; once you are approved you sign the Master Agreement and the Square Product Schedule in the portal, then create your agents and links. Boarding is live in the United States today.
How fast are merchants approved?
Fast — typically same day or one business day. You share your branded intake link, the merchant fills a short form, OrderOut completes the Square account setup with your referral attached, and the deal is attributed to your organization, ISO, and agent automatically.
Do Square merchants get Instant Funding through OrderOut?
Yes. Merchants boarded through the OrderOut Square reseller program can get Instant Funding powered by Netevia — their money the moment the batch closes, instead of waiting for standard next-day settlement. It is another reason for merchants to say yes, and it is offered to all your Square merchants.
What UberEats and DoorDash incentives come with the program?
Merchants you bring on can qualify for account-opening incentives on UberEats and DoorDash, powered by OrderOut’s third-party delivery integrations — on top of Square POS and Instant Funding. It gives your agents more to offer than a payments-only pitch.
What is the difference between the Rack Rate and 4% Flat Rate programs?
Both are Square’s own reseller programs, available through OrderOut. Rack Rate is Square’s standard processing rate (2.6% + $0.15 in person, per squareup.com/pricing). The 4% Flat Rate program pairs with either a 4% Cash Discount (a discount for customers who pay cash) or a 4% Service Charge (4% added to card transactions). The intake link you send decides which of the two Square programs the merchant lands on, so choose it before you send the link; inside the 4% Flat Rate link the merchant picks the Cash Discount or Service Charge variant at setup. You receive the correct link for each program when you join the OrderOut Reseller Program.
Is there a dual-pricing or cash-discounting option?
Cash discounting — yes, today. True dual pricing (showing two separate prices) — no; Square does not offer dual pricing under the current program. What is available alongside Rack Rate (Square’s standard 2.6% + $0.15 processing rate) is the 4% Flat Rate program, run as either a 4% Cash Discount (a discount for customers who pay cash) or a 4% Service Charge (4% added to card transactions) — the intake link determines the program and the merchant picks the variant at setup. Both variants are configured natively in Square at the POS, and Square supports BIN-compliant surcharging (debit cards are never surcharged). See Square’s published setup guides at squareup.com/help.
Why would a merchant sign up through a reseller instead of going direct to Square?
The merchant pays Square’s same published pricing either way — going through you costs them nothing extra. What they get through you: white-glove onboarding (a short form, no Square redirect, OrderOut completes the account setup), Instant Funding powered by Netevia, UberEats and DoorDash account-opening incentives, and a real person — you — instead of a website. Merchants can still sign up directly at squareup.com; the reseller channel is how ISOs and agents earn residuals on the merchants they bring.
Do I earn commission on hardware, software plans, or other Square products?
Square residuals are earned on payment-processing volume. Netevia Instant Funding and OrderOut’s delivery and online-ordering products each carry their own separate commission — the portal is multi-product. The rest of Square’s product surface still works in your favor: when a merchant adopts more of Square, their processing volume and stickiness grow — and processing volume is exactly what you’re paid on.
Can I sign up a business that’s already using Square?
Not by transfer — an existing Square account can’t be re-pointed to a reseller, and residuals attach only when a new merchant processing account is opened through your branded link. So the path with an existing Square merchant is opening a new account through your link.
How are Square reseller deals tracked?
Every Square intake submitted through your link appears in your Reseller Portal pipeline in real time, attributed to the correct agent and ISO. You see deal status progress from submitted → account created → completed, with Slack and email alerts at each step. Dollar-level residual & payout reporting is coming soon.
Can I see how each of my agents and sub-ISOs is performing?
Yes. The Organization → ISO → Agent hierarchy in your portal shows link opens, submitted applications, and deal attribution per agent and per ISO, so you can compare performance and coach your team. Dollar-level residual reporting is coming soon.
Is the Square reseller program available in Canada?
No — not today. The program boards merchants in the United States only, and Canadian merchant addresses are not accepted at onboarding. Canada is one of the eight Square markets named in the agreement, but each non-US market first needs its own legal entity, local bank account, reseller agreement, and signup links, and none of that is in place yet. If you have a Canadian merchant in front of you, talk to the OrderOut reseller team before you commit to anything.
Do I need to already be a registered ISO to join the OrderOut Square reseller program?
No. The OrderOut Reseller Program is open to ISOs, agents, and sales teams — you do not need to already be a registered ISO to start referring merchants. You join, receive your branded intake link, and OrderOut handles the underlying Square account setup on the back end; your deals still roll up correctly through the Organization → ISO → Agent hierarchy built into the portal.
